Henrietta Caroline Dundas was born circa 1868 at Dundas Castle, Linlithgowshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Henry Robert Duncan Dundas and Hon. Catherine Anne Carrington Napier.3 She married Lt.-Gen. Sir David Henderson, son of David Henderson, on 18 December 1895.1 She died on 14 April 1959.1
She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 From 18 December 1895, her married name became Henderson. She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1919.1
