Charles, seigneur de Montmorency seigneur d'Ecouen et de Berneval was born in 1307.1 He was the son of Jean I, seigneur de Montmorency seigneur d'Ecouen and Jeanne de Calletot, dame de Berneval.2 He married, firstly, Marguerite de Beaujeu in 1330.1 He married, secondly, Jeanne de Pierrepont, dame de Blazan, daughter of Jean V de Pierrepont, comte de Roucy et Braine and Marguerite de Bomez, dame de Châteaumeillant, de Blaison, de Mirebeau, de Concressault et de Montfaucon, on 26 January 1341 at Paris, France.1 He married, thirdly, Perronelle de Villiers, dame de Villiers-le-Sec, de Vitry-en-Brie, de La Tour de Chaumont et de Bercy, daughter of Adam de Villiers, Seigneur de Villiers et l'Isle-Adam and Alix de Cressy, before 1370.1 He died on 11 September 1381.1
