     Charles Gordon, 11th of Hallhead was the son of Patrick Gordon, 9th of Hallhead and Margaret Burnett.2 He died after 1726, without issue.1
     In 1726 he was disponed to his brother Robert.1

     Robert Gordon, 1st of Esslemont and 12th of Hallhead was the son of Patrick Gordon, 9th of Hallhead and Margaret Burnett.2 He married Isabella Byres, daughter of James Byres and Janet Middleton.1 He died on 7 September 1737.1
     He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1700.1 At Bordeaux, FranceG, a wine merchant, where he prospered sufficiently to buy Hallhead from his brother Charles in 1726 and Esslemont in 1728 from James Gordon of Ellon.1 He held the office of Baillie of Edinburgh.1

     He was very extravagent.1

Sir William Gordon1

     Sir William Gordon was born in 1727.1 He was the son of William Gordon.2 He married Mary Allsopp in July 1776.1 He died in 1798.1
     He was Minister to Ratisbon in 1764.1 He was in the Court of the Holy Roman Emperor between 1765 and 1777 at Brussels, BelgiumG.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 19 May 1779.1

     Mary Allsopp married, firstly, Samuel Phillipps, son of William Phillipps, before 1776.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Gordon, son of William Gordon, in July 1776.1 She died in 1796.1
     From before 1776, her married name became Phillipps.1 From July 1776, her married name became Gordon.
