     Edgar Miles Bronfman was born on 20 June 1929 at Montreal, Quebec, Canada.3 He was the son of Samuel Bronfman and Saidye Rosner.1,3 He married, firstly, Ann Loeb, daughter of unknown Loeb, in 1953.3 He and Ann Loeb were divorced in 1971.3 He married, secondly, Lady Carolyn Elizabeth Ann Townshend, daughter of George John Patrick Dominic Townshend, 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Elizabeth Pamela Audrey Luby, in January 1973.1 He married, thirdly, Rita Webb in 1975.3 He and Rita Webb were divorced.3 He married, fifthly, Jan Aronson in 1994.3 He married, fourthly, Rita Webb.3 He and Rita Webb were divorced.3 He died on 21 December 2013 at age 84.3
     He was chairman of Seagram Company.3 His marriage to Lady Carolyn Elizabeth Ann Townshend was annulled in 1974.1 He was president of the World Jewish Congress between 1981 and 2007.3 He lived at New York, U.S.A.G.1
