John Blakeney was born in October 1826.2 He was the son of John Henry Blakeney and Charlotte Mahon.2 He married, firstly, Frances Maria Burke, daughter of James Hardiman Burke and Anne O'Hara.2 He married, secondly, Johanna Isabella Blake, daughter of Henry Martyn Blake and Nichola Frances Charlotte ffrench, in 1873.2 He died in 1901.2
