Evelyn Kate Mary Dryden was born in 1909.1 She was the daughter of Major John Erasmus Skottowe Dryden and Kate Mary Gibb.2 She married Brigadier Gerald Ernest Thubron, son of Ernest Blakelock Thubron, on 29 August 1931.1 She died on 15 April 2007.3

Brigadier Gerald Ernest Thubron was born on 13 July 1903.2 He was the son of Ernest Blakelock Thubron.3 He married Evelyn Kate Mary Dryden, daughter of Major John Erasmus Skottowe Dryden and Kate Mary Gibb, on 29 August 1931.1 He died on 6 September 1992 at age 89 at Piltdown, Sussex, England.3,4
He fought in the Second World War, in North Italy and Austria.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the North Staffordshire Regiment.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He adopted Sarah Elizabeth Thubron.1
