Sir James Dillon1

     Sir James Dillon is the son of Theobald Dillon, 1st Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Plunket, daughter of Thomas Plunket.1 He married, secondly, Mary Jones, daughter of Roger Jones, in 1653.1
     He joined the Irish uprising of the 1640s, and was excepted from a general pardon by Oliver Cromwell.1 On 16 June 1653 he raised the Dillon Regiment (disbanded 29 Feb 1664.)1
He gained the rank of Major-General in the French and Spanish Armies.1

     Captain John Nicholson Inglefield was born in 1748 at Deptford, Kent, England.2 He was the son of Isaac Inglefield and Hannah Dorothy Slade.2 He married Ann Smith on 27 December 1773 at Baughurst, Hampshire, England.2 He died on 7 February 1828 at Greenwich, London, England.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
