     General Hon. William Gordon was born between 1730 and 1737.¹ He was the son of William Gordon, 2nd Earl of Aberdeen and Lady Anne Gordon.¹ He died on 25 May 1816, unmarried.¹

     Charles Gordon was born on 27 April 1770.¹ He was the son of Hon. Alexander Gordon, Lord Rockville and Anne Duff.¹ He married Elizabeth (?) on 9 June 1806.² He died on 18 February 1851 at age 80.²

     Sir William Duff Gordon, 2nd Bt. was born on 8 April 1772.¹ He was the son of Hon. Alexander Gordon, Lord Rockville and Anne Duff.¹ He married Caroline Cornewall, daughter of Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Cornewall, on 10 February 1810.² He died on 8 March 1823 at age 50.²
     He was given the name of William Gordon at birth.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Worcester in 1807.³ On 9 October 1813 his name was legally changed to William Duff Gordon by Royal Licence.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Duff, of Halkin, co. Ayr [U.K., 1813] on 20 November 1815.²

     Sir James Duff, 1st Bt. was born in 1734. He was the son of William Duff of Crombie and Elizabeth Dalrymple.^1,2 He died in November 1815 at Port St. Mary, Spain^G, unmarried.² He died on 20 November 1815.³ He was buried at Gibraltar^G.²
     He held the office of British Consul to Cadiz in 1790.² He was created 1st Baronet Duff, of Halkin, co. Ayr [U.K.] on 12 November 1813, with special remainder to his nephew, William Duff.¹

     Lady Charlotte Catherine Hamilton-Gordon was born on 28 March 1808 at Argyll House, Great Argyll Street, Westminster, London, England^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of George Hamilton-Gordon, 4th Earl of Aberdeen and Lady Catherine Elizabeth Hamilton.¹ She died on 24 July 1818 at age 10 at Argyll House, Great Argyll Street, Westminster, London, England^G, unmarried.^1,3 She was buried at Stanmore, London, England^G.³

     Robert Alexander Hamilton-Gordon was born on 11 April 1893.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Alexander Hamilton-Gordon and Isabel Newmarch.¹ He died on 29 April 1893.¹

     Major Alan Herschel Hamilton-Gordon was born on 7 March 1898.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Alexander Hamilton-Gordon and Isabel Newmarch.¹ He married Deenya Kovachevska, daughter of Dimitri Kovachevsky, on 7 July 1933.¹ He died in 1984 at Brazil.²
