Sir Gilbert King, 3rd Bt. was born on 13 June 1812.2 He is the son of Sir Robert King, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Rowe.3 He married Mary Vigogne, daughter of Charles Vigogne and Mary Rowley, on 19 November 1833.2 He died on 14 November 1895 at age 83.2
