Reverend Francis Ruttledge was born in 1788 at County Mayo, Ireland.2 He was born in 1788.2 He was the son of Joseph Lambert and Barbara Ruttledge.2 He married Margaret Bruen, daughter of Colonel Henry Bruen and Dorothea Henrietta Knox, on 9 June 1819.1
He was given the name of Francis Lambert at birth.2 On 7 April 1819 his name was legally changed to Francis Ruttledge by Sign Manual, after inheriting Bloomfield from his maternal uncle, Robert Ruttledge.2 He lived at Bloomfield, County Mayo, IrelandG.1 He was the Rector at Kilmaine, County Mayo, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Prebendary of Kilmaine.2
