     Magdalene Trevor is the daughter of Captain Sir Edward Trevor and Rose Ussher.

     George Hay, Earl of Gifford was born on 22 April 1822.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal George Hay, 8th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Susan Montagu.¹ He married Helen Selina Sheridan, daughter of Thomas Sheridan and Caroline Henrietta Callander, on 13 October 1862.² He died on 22 December 1862 at age 40, without issue.¹
     He was styled as Earl of Gifford between 1822 and 1862.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1850 in the East Lothian Yeomanry Cavalry.¹ He was Private Secretary to the Secretary for War from 1854 to 1855.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Totnes between 1855 and 1862.¹

     Helen Selina Sheridan was the daughter of Thomas Sheridan and Caroline Henrietta Callander.¹ She married, firstly, Price Blackwood, 4th Baron Dufferin and Claneboye, son of Hans Blackwood, 3rd Baron Dufferin and Claneboye and Mehetabel Hester Temple, on 4 July 1825.¹ She married, secondly, George Hay, Earl of Gifford, son of Field Marshal George Hay, 8th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Susan Montagu, on 13 October 1862.¹ She died on 13 June 1867.¹
     From 4 July 1825, her married name became Blackwood. She wrote the book The Charming Woman, published 1835.² She wrote the book The Fine Young English Gentleman.² After her marriage, Helen Selina Sheridan was styled as Baroness Dufferin and Clandeboye on 18 November 1839. She wrote the book The Irish Emigrant, published 1845.² Her married name became Hay. She wrote the book Lispings from Low Latitudes or Extracts from the Journal of the Honour Impulsia Gushington, published 1863.² She wrote the book Finesse; or a Busy Day in Messina, published 1863, a play.²

     Price Blackwood, 4th Baron Dufferin and Claneboye was born on 6 May 1794.¹ He was the son of Hans Blackwood, 3rd Baron Dufferin and Claneboye and Mehetabel Hester Temple.¹ He married Helen Selina Sheridan, daughter of Thomas Sheridan and Caroline Henrietta Callander, on 4 July 1825.² He died on 21 July 1841 at age 47, on board a steamer off Belfast from an overdose of morphine after a local pharmacist, acting in haste because of the ship's imminent sailing, made up an overstrong prescription.¹
     He was commissioned in 1803, in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1823.¹ He gained the rank of Commodore in 1824.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Blackwood, of Ballyleidy, co. Down [I., 1763] on 18 November 1839.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Dufferin and Claneboye of Ballyleidy and Killyleagh, co. Down [I., 1800] on 18 November 1839.¹

     John Richard Chenevix-Trench was born on 20 February 1948.¹ He is the son of Christopher John Chenevix Trench and Mary Elizabeth Catherine Allen.¹ He married Pauline Alexander, daughter of James Stephen Alexander, in 1970.¹
     He was educated.¹ He was educated at University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England^G.¹ He lived in 1999.¹

     Lt.-Col. Henry Hardinge was born on 26 July 1817.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Richard Hardinge and Anne Papillon.² He died on 6 February 1898 at age 80, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Kaffir Wars, where he was wounded.¹ He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He held the office of Gentleman-at-Arms to HM Queen Victoria.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Frances Best was the daughter of James Best and Frances Shelley.¹ She married Reverend Henry Hardinge, son of Nicholas Hardinge and Jane Pratt, on 4 June 1779.¹ She died on 27 October 1837.¹
     From 4 June 1779, her married name became Hardinge.¹

     Pauline Alexander is the daughter of James Stephen Alexander.¹ She married John Richard Chenevix-Trench, son of Christopher John Chenevix Trench and Mary Elizabeth Catherine Allen, in 1970.¹
     From 1970, her married name became Chenevix-Trench.¹

     Kenneth Callander lived at Craigforth, Stirlingshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Thomas Papillon married Anne Cressett-Pelham, daughter of Henry Cressett-Pelham.
