     Elizabeth Folliott was the daughter of Henry Folliott, 1st Lord Folliott, Baron of Ballyshannon and Anne Strode.1,2 She married, thirdly, Sir John Ponsonby, son of Henry Ponsonby and Dorothy Sands.1 She married, firstly, Richard Wingfield, son of Sir Edward Wingfield and Anne Cromwell, on 7 May 1640.3 She married, secondly, Edward Trevor, son of Captain Sir Edward Trevor and Rose Ussher, on 12 April 1646.1
     Her married name became Ponsonby.1 From 7 May 1640, her married name became Wingfield. From 12 April 1646, her married name became Trevor.

Henry Folliott, 1st Lord Folliott, Baron of Ballyshannon1

     Henry Folliott, 1st Lord Folliott, Baron of Ballyshannon was born circa 1569.2 He was the son of Thomas Folliott and Katherine Lygon.2 He married Anne Strode, daughter of Sir William Strode, before 1613.2 He died on 10 November 1622.2
     He gained the title of 1st Lord Folliott, Baron of Ballyshannon.

     Edward Trevor was the son of Captain Sir Edward Trevor and Rose Ussher. He married Elizabeth Folliott, daughter of Henry Folliott, 1st Lord Folliott, Baron of Ballyshannon and Anne Strode, on 12 April 1646.1

Mark Trevor, 1st Viscount Dungannon

     Mark Trevor, 1st Viscount Dungannon was the son of Captain Sir Edward Trevor and Rose Ussher. He died circa 1670.
     He was also known as Marcus. He gained the title of 1st Viscount Dungannon in 1661.
     Mark, as a reward of his good services in the Battle of Marston Moor in the county of York, in which battle this Mark Trevor encountered Oliver Cromwell himself and wounded him with his sword. For this service King Charles II created Mark Knight Lord Viscount Dungannon and Baron Ros Trevor in the Kingdom of Ireland. Viscount Dungannon died in 1670 with no heirs and the title became extinct. Quotation from 'The Deeds of Dudleston' by the Rev. F. Brighton, Vicar of St. Mary's Church, Dudleston, published 1949.

     Sir John Ponsonby was born circa 1608.1 He was the son of Henry Ponsonby and Dorothy Sands.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Folliott, daughter of Henry Folliott, 1st Lord Folliott, Baron of Ballyshannon and Anne Strode.1 He married, firstly, Dorothy Briscoe, daughter of John Briscoe.2 He died in 1678.1
     He was Colonel of the Horse Regiment of the Commonwealth forces.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1654.2 He held the office of Sheriff of County Kilkenny in 1654.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Kilkenny [Ireland].2 He lived at Bessborough, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.1 He lived at Hale, Cheshire, EnglandG.2

     Sir Henry Ponsonby was born before 1659.1 He was the son of Sir John Ponsonby and Elizabeth Folliott.1 He married Dorothy Shaw, daughter of Captain William Shaw and Ann Sankey, on 1 October 1674 at St. Andrew's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He died before 1702.3
     He lived at Bessborough, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.3
