     Frances Eileen Bernadette Boylan was born on 3 February 1936.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Michael Benedict Carey Boylan and Eileen Cecilia May Wetherell.2 She married, firstly, Major Timothy James Thomas, son of J. F. H. Thomas, on 27 April 1959.1 She and Major Timothy James Thomas were divorced in 1964.3 She married, secondly, Captain Simon Thomas Clarke, son of Major Charles Martin Clarke and Ferelith Patricia Fuller, on 23 February 1965.1 She died on 23 February 1974 at age 38.1
     From 27 April 1959, her married name became Thomas. From 23 February 1965, her married name became Clarke.

     Major Timothy James Thomas is the son of J. F. H. Thomas.2 He married, firstly, Frances Eileen Bernadette Boylan, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Michael Benedict Carey Boylan and Eileen Cecilia May Wetherell, on 27 April 1959.3 He and Frances Eileen Bernadette Boylan were divorced in 1964.4 He married, secondly, Rosemary Macpherson, daughter of Francis Cameron Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 19th Chief and Elsa Skoglund, on 22 September 1966.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Queen's Own Hussars.3

     From 3 January 1923, her married name became Boylan. She was a professed nun in Med Missionaries of Mary in 1970 at Drogheda, County Louth, IrelandG.1
