     Henry O'Connell was born after 1764.1 He was the son of Hugh O'Connell and Sarah Epwell.2 He died before 1804.1 His will was proven (by probate) in 1804 at Ardagh, County Longford, IrelandG.1

     Her married name became O'Connell.

Gleadowe Montgomery O'Connell1

     Gleadowe Montgomery O'Connell was born on 20 October 1779.1 He was the son of Hugh O'Connell and unknown Lyons.2 He married Mary Heefké, daughter of John Lewis Heefké, on 18 September 1813.1 He died circa 24 April 1842 at Negapatam, IndiaG.1 He was buried at St. Mary's Cathedral, Madras, IndiaG.1
     In 1798 he was sent to London by his parents on the outbreak of the Irish Rebellion.1 He gained the rank of Private in the Honourable East India Company Service, and went to Madras.1 He gained the rank of Conductor in Ordnance in 1804.1 He fought in the Siege of Seringapatam.1 He fought in the Battle of Assaye, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1811 in the Carnatic European Veteran Battalion.1 He was Commissary of Ordnance in the Arsenal of Fort St George, for 31 years.1

     John Lewis Heefké was a Free Merchant and Engineer at Madras, IndiaG.1 He was Superintendant Engineer on the building of the Lord Clive Canal from Pulicat to Madras.1 He lived at Amsterdam, The NetherlandsG.1

     Mary Heefké was the daughter of John Lewis Heefké.2 She married Gleadowe Montgomery O'Connell, son of Hugh O'Connell and unknown Lyons, on 18 September 1813.1 She died circa 1 July 1830.1 She was buried on 5 July 1830 at St. Mary's Cathedral, Madras, IndiaG.1
     From 18 September 1813, her married name became O'Connell.

General Hugh Heefké O'Connell1

     General Hugh Heefké O'Connell was born on 16 February 1824.1 He was the son of Gleadowe Montgomery O'Connell and Mary Heefké.2 He married Eliza Reeve Harris, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Hamlyn Lavicount Harris and Eliza Cobden Reeve, on 11 December 1854.1 He died on 31 July 1895 at age 71 at Wandsworth, Surrey, EnglandG.1
     He was commissioned in 1840, in the service of the 19th Madras Native Infantry.1

Maj.-Gen. Peter Pearse Lyons O'Connell1

     Maj.-Gen. Peter Pearse Lyons O'Connell was born on 3 January 1827.1 He was the son of Gleadowe Montgomery O'Connell and Mary Heefké.2 He married Anna Sheridan Drew, daughter of Reverend W. H. Drew, on 18 August 1857.1 He died on 13 July 1915 at age 88 at Bromley, Kent, IndiaG.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Madras Engineers.1

     From 18 August 1857, her married name became O'Connell.
