Granville Harcourt Vernon was born on 26 July 1792.2 He was the son of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower.2 He married, firstly, Frances Julia Eyre, daughter of Anthony Hardolph Eyre and Francisca Alicia Wilbraham-Bootle, on 22 February 1814.2 He married, secondly, Hon. Pyne Jesse Brand Trevor, daughter of General Henry Otway Trevor, 21st Lord Dacre and Pyne Crosbie, on 22 November 1845.2 He died on 8 December 1879 at age 87.2
