Sir Graham Percival Heywood, 4th Bt.1

     Sir Graham Percival Heywood, 4th Bt. was born on 14 July 1878.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur Percival Heywood, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Effie Sumner.2 He died on 30 June 1946 at age 67, unmarried.1
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice and was wounded.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Staffordshire Yeomanry between 1916 and 1918.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Heywood, of Claremont, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1838] on 19 April 1916.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1922.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
