Admiral Edward Hawke, 1st Baron Hawke of Towton1

     Admiral Edward Hawke, 1st Baron Hawke of Towton was born in 1705.1 He was the son of Edward Hawke and Elizabeth Bladen.2 He married Catherine Brooke, daughter of Walter Brooke, in 1737.1 He died on 17 October 1781.1
     He was commissioned in 1720, in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portsmouth between 1747 and 1776.2 He gained the rank of Rea-Admiral of the White in July 1747.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1749.1 He gained the rank of Battle of Quiberon Bay on 20 November 1759 in the where he defeated the French.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1765.2 He held the office of First Lord of the Admiralty between 1766 and 1771.2 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1768.2 He was created 1st Baron Hawke of Towton, co. York [Great Britain] on 20 May 1776.2

     Catherine Brooke was born in 1720.2 She was the daughter of Walter Brooke.3 She married Admiral Edward Hawke, 1st Baron Hawke of Towton, son of Edward Hawke and Elizabeth Bladen, in 1737.1 She died on 28 October 1756.1
     From 1737, her married name became Hawke.

Eric Cecil Sebag-Montefiore was born on 22 January 1899.1 He was the son of Major Cecil Sebag-Montefiore and Emilia Margaret Raphael.1 He married Audrey Mabel Rose Haldin, daughter of Henry Hyman Haldin and Mabel Julia Leon, on 22 January 1924.1 He died on 5 May 1991 at age 92 at West Meon, Hampshire, EnglandG.2
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1947 in the Durham Light Infantry.1 He lived in 1965 at Monk's Lodge, Great Maplestead, Essex, EnglandG.1

     Cassandra Turner was the daughter of Sir Edward Turner, 2nd Bt. and Cassandra Leigh.2 She married Martin Bladen Hawke, 2nd Baron Hawke of Towton, son of Admiral Edward Hawke, 1st Baron Hawke of Towton and Catherine Brooke, on 6 February 1771.1 She died on 19 November 1813.1
     From 6 February 1771, her married name became Hawke. After her marriage, Cassandra Turner was styled as Baroness Hawke of Towton on 17 October 1781.

Audrey Mabel Rose Haldin1

     Audrey Mabel Rose Haldin was born on 11 November 1899.2 She was the daughter of Henry Hyman Haldin and Mabel Julia Leon.1 She married Lt.-Col. Eric Cecil Sebag-Montefiore, son of Major Cecil Sebag-Montefiore and Emilia Margaret Raphael, on 22 January 1924.1 She died in September 1984 at age 84.2
     From 22 January 1924, her married name became Sebag-Montefiore.1

     Frances Anne Harvey was the daughter of Stanhope Hervey.2 She married Edward Hawke-Harvey, 3rd Baron Hawke of Towton, son of Martin Bladen Hawke, 2nd Baron Hawke of Towton and Cassandra Turner, on 28 August 1798.1 She died on 22 August 1810.1
     From 28 August 1798, her married name became Hawke. After her marriage, Frances Anne Harvey was styled as Baroness Hawke of Towton on 27 March 1805.
