     Constance Alice Leslie-Melville was born circa 1871.1 She was the daughter of Alexander Samuel Leslie-Melville and Hon. Albinia Frances Brodrick.1 She married Sir Nicholas Henry Bacon, 12th and 13th Bt., son of Sir Henry Hickman Bacon, 10th and 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Beckett, on 22 June 1893.1 She died on 11 February 1962.1
     Her married name became Bacon. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 She was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.2

     Alexander Samuel Leslie-Melville was born on 28 July 1829.2 He was the son of Hon. Alexander Leslie-Melville and Charlotte Smith.2 He married Hon. Albinia Frances Brodrick, daughter of Charles Brodrick, 6th Viscount Midleton of Midleton and Hon. Emma Stapleton, on 30 September 1858.2 He died on 27 January 1919 at age 89.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1888.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.2 He lived at Branston Hall, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1

Emma Stapleton.1,2 She married Alexander Samuel Leslie-Melville, son of Hon. Alexander Leslie-Melville and Charlotte Smith, on 30 September 1858.1 She died on 18 March 1918 at age 86.1
     From 30 September 1858, her married name became Leslie-Melville.1

     From 19 October 1825, her married name became Leslie-Melville.1

     Jane Thornton was born in 1757.2 She was the daughter of John Thornton and Lucy Watson.1 She married Alexander Leslie-Melville, 9th Earl of Leven, son of David Leslie, 8th Earl of Leven and Wilhelmina Nisbet, on 12 August 1784.1 She died on 13 February 1818.
     From 12 August 1784, her married name became Leslie.1 After her marriage, Jane Thornton was styled as Countess of Leven and Melville on 9 June 1802. From 1805, her married name became Leslie-Melville.
