Major Hon. Charles Hubert Francis Noel was born on 22 October 1885.1 He was the son of Charles William Francis Noel, 3rd Earl of Gainsborough and Mary Elizabeth Dease.1 He married May Dick, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Archibald Campbell Douglas Dick, on 31 May 1912.1 He died on 26 April 1947 at age 61.1
