Sir Toby Tyrrell, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 9 October 1617 at Thornton, Buckinghamshire, England.2 He was the son of Sir Edward Tyrrell, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Kingsmill. He married, secondly, Lucy Barrington, daughter of Sir Thomas Barrington.2 He married, firstly, Edith Windebank, daughter of Sir Thomas Windebank, on 1 December 1638 at St. Giles in the Fields, London, EnglandG.2
He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Tyrrell. He lived at Thornton, Buckinghamshire, England.1
