George Arthur French and Katherine Lorne Heriot-Maitland, on 23 May 1959.1 She and Major Arthur John French were divorced in 1977.1 She married, secondly, Desmond Saville Hunter in 1977.1 She and Desmond Saville Hunter were divorced in 1993.1 She died on 3 February 2019 at age 82.3

Lt.-Col. George Arthur French was born on 1 July 1900.2 He was the son of Colonel George Arthur French and Annie Elizabeth Jefferies.3,4 He married, firstly, Katherine Lorne Heriot-Maitland, daughter of Brig.-Gen. James Dalgleish Heriot-Maitland and Mary Turner Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, on 20 April 1933.1 He married, secondly, Diana Margaret Honoria Stack, daughter of Reverend Charles Robert Rowan Stack and Eliza Hester Rowan, on 11 February 1956.2 He died on 27 August 1978 at age 78 at County Wexford, Ireland.5
