Laurence Paul Methuen was born on 18 September 1898.1 He was the son of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford.1,2 He married, firstly, Hon. Olive Douglas Campbell, daughter of Brig.-Maj. Archibald Campbell, 4th Baron Blythswood and Evelyn Fletcher, on 23 February 1927.3 He married, secondly, Lady Maureen Margaret Brabazon, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Reginald le Normand Brabazon, 13th Earl of Meath and Lady Aileen May Wyndham-Quin, on 11 December 1950.2 He died on 18 April 1970 at age 71.2

Barrington Bulkeley Campbell, 3rd Baron Blythswood and Mildred Catherine Hawley.1 He married Evelyn Fletcher, daughter of John Fletcher, on 25 July 1895.1 He died on 14 November 1929 at age 59 at Blythswood House, Renfrewshire, ScotlandG, without male issue.1 He was buried on 18 November 1929 at Inchinnan, ScotlandG.1
