Major Charles Vernon Colville Booth-Jones was born on 5 February 1928.1 He was the son of Major Thomas Vernon Booth-Jones and Margaret Wallace Colville.1 He married, firstly, Louise Anne Edwards, daughter of Colonel Guy Janion Edwards and Janet McCorquodale, on 2 October 1951.1 He and Louise Anne Edwards were divorced.1 He married, secondly, Pauline Celia Gunn, daughter of Sir Herbert James Gunn, on 19 January 1974.1 He died on 15 September 2009 at age 81.2
