     Colonel Goddard Richards was born in 1764 at County Wexford, Ireland.2 He was the son of Goddard Richards and Anne Hewetson.2 He died on 19 October 1833 at Bath, Somerset, England.2
     He was with the Honourable East India Company Service.1 He gained the rank of Colonel on 5 June 1829 in the 59th Native Infantry.2

     Rawdon George Grey Clifton, 23rd Baron Grey (of Ruthin) was born on 14 November 1858.1 He was the son of Augustus Wykeham Clifton and Bertha Lelgarde Rawdon-Hastings, Baroness Grey (of Ruthin).1 He married Evelyn Isobel Ida Charlotte Foster, daughter of James Foster, on 1 September 1892.1 He died on 29 August 1912 at age 53.1
     He succeeded as the 23rd Baron Grey, of Ruthin [E., 1325] on 15 December 1887.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.2

     Evelyn Isobel Ida Charlotte Foster was the daughter of James Foster.1 She married Rawdon George Grey Clifton, 23rd Baron Grey (of Ruthin), son of Augustus Wykeham Clifton and Bertha Lelgarde Rawdon-Hastings, Baroness Grey (of Ruthin), on 1 September 1892.1 She died on 2 October 1905.1
     Her married name became Clifton.

     Cecil Talbot Clifton, 24th Baron Grey (of Ruthin) was born on 9 January 1862.1 He was the son of Augustus Wykeham Clifton and Bertha Lelgarde Rawdon-Hastings, Baroness Grey (of Ruthin).1 He died on 21 May 1934 at age 72, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 24th Baron Grey, of Ruthin [E., 1325] on 29 August 1912.1 He was a rancher at Montana, U.S.A.2 On his death, his barony fell into abeyance between his nephew John Lancelot Wykeham Butler Bowdon, and his younger sister, Lelgarde Harry Florence.1

     From 30 July 1879, her married name became Butler-Bowdon.

     John Lancelot Butler-Bowdon, 25th Baron Grey (of Ruthin) was born on 25 October 1883.1 He was the son of Lancelot George Butler-Bowdon and Hon. Ella Cicely Mary Clifton.1 He died on 25 October 1963 at age 80, without issue.1
     He was educated at Mount St. Mary's College, Spinkhill, Sheffield, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.1 He succeeded as the 25th Baron Grey, of Ruthin [E., 1325] in 1940, when the barony was called out of abeyance.1 On his death, his barony fell into abeyance between the 22nd Baroness's sisters.1

     Mary Gould was the daughter of Colonel Edward Thoroton Gould and Lady Barbara Yelverton.1 She married Rev. Hon. Frederick Powys, son of Thomas Powys, 1st Baron Lilford of Lilford and Mary Eleanor Mann, on 15 October 1807.1 She died on 19 January 1837.1
     Her married name became Powys.
