Marion Ruperta Murray Lawes was born on 28 September 1863.2 She was the daughter of Major Robert Bartholomew Lawes.3 She married Geoffrey Cecil Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 12th Baron Saye and Sele, son of John Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 11th Baron Saye and Sele and Lady Augusta Sophia Hay-Drummond, on 20 February 1884.1 She died on 27 July 1946 at age 82.1
