Sir Piers Leigh was the son of Robert Leigh and Maud de Norley.2 He married Cecily Bradshaw.3 He married Margaret d'Anyers, daughter of Sir Thomas d'Anyers, in 1388.1,3 He died in 1399 at Chester, Cheshire, EnglandG, executed as a supporter of the deposed Ling Richard II.1
He lived at Lymm, Cheshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Battle of Crécy in 1346, where he bore the Black Prince's standard and captured the Count de Tancarville.1 His marriage to Margaret d'Anyers was annulled.3 He was appointed Knight in 1397.3
