     Rosa Ellen Wrout was the daughter of Russell Brougham Wrout and Charlotte Bath.2,1 She married Samuel Nightingale, son of William Nightingale, on 5 April 1885.1 She died on 4 March 1935.1
     From 5 April 1885, her married name became Nightingale.

     Victor Russell John Nightingale of Cromarty was born on 26 March 1887.1 He was the son of Samuel Nightingale and Rosa Ellen Wrout.2 He married, firstly, Bathsheba Buhay, daughter of Manheim Buhay, on 1 January 1913.1 He married, secondly, Blanche Edyth Marsden, daughter of Captain Charles William Harrington Marsden, on 7 July 1942.1 He died on 15 April 1951 at age 64.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was member of the London Stock Exchange.1 He was proprietor with Hilaire Belloc of The Weekly Review.1 He was partner of J. and A. Scrimgeour.1

     Herbert Paul Nightingale was born on 22 June 1888.1 He was the son of Samuel Nightingale and Rosa Ellen Wrout.2 He married, firstly, Edith Cecil Cuninghame, daughter of Alexander Cuninghame, on 1 April 1911.1 He married, secondly, Adrienne Margaret Houston, daughter of Charles Cornelius Houston and Rachel Beatrice Dashwood, on 10 November 1934.1
     He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He lived at Sydenham, Kent, EnglandG.1

     John Cyprian Nightingale was born on 16 September 1913.1 He was the son of Herbert Paul Nightingale and Edith Cecil Cuninghame.2 He married Patricia MacLaren, daughter of Dr. Norman Henry William Maclaren and Mary Margaret Garnet, in 1947.1 He died in October 2002 at age 89 at Braintree, Essex, England.3
     He graduated from University of the City of London, London, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He was Chief Constable of Essex in 1962.1
