     Janet Cuming is the daughter of Thomas Cuming.2 She married Sir James Montgomery-Cuninghame of Cuninghame, 6th Bt., son of Alexander Montgomery-Cuninghame and Elizabeth Montgomery, in 1802.1
     From 1802, her married name became Montgomery-Cuninghame.1

     Sir Alexander David Montgomery-Cuninghame of Cuninghame, 7th Bt. was the son of Sir James Montgomery-Cuninghame of Cuninghame, 6th Bt. and Janet Cuming.2 He died on 8 June 1846.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Cuninghame, of Corsehill, co. Ayr [N.S., 1672] in March 1837.1
