     Vice-Admiral Donald MacLeod Mackenzie was born on 18 September 1815.2 He was the son of Sir George Stewart Mackenzie of Coul, 7th Bt. and Mary MacLeod.2 He married Dorothea Seymour, daughter of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour and Dora Knighton, on 20 April 1865.2 He died on 25 January 1894 at age 78, without issue.2

     Captain Edward Seymour was born on 5 October 1804.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, 1st Bt. and Jane Hawker.2 He died on 13 June 1837 at age 32.1

     Charles James Irwin Grant, 6th Baron de Longueil was born on 1 April 1815.3 He was the son of Charles William Grant, 5th Baron de Longueuil and Caroline Coffin.3 He married, firstly, Harriet Colmore, daughter of Frind Cregoe Colmore, in 1842.3 He married, secondly, Anna Mary Catherine Trapman, daughter of Louis Trapman, on 28 January 1849.3,2 He died on 26 February 1879 at age 63.3
     He succeeded as the 6th Baron de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec, 1700] on 5 July 1848.
