Reverend Samuel Alexander was born on 12 April 1808.1 He was the son of John Alexander and Hannah Richardson Murray.1 He married Charlotte Frances Beresford, daughter of Reverend Charles Cobbe Beresford and Amelia Montgomery, on 4 November 1839.1 He died on 3 June 1889 at age 81.1

John Barré Beresford was born on 19 October 1815.2 He was the son of Henry Barré Beresford and Eliza Baily.2,1 He married, firstly, Sophia Lyons-Montgomery, daughter of Hugh Lyons-Montgomery and Eliza Blacker, on 23 April 1840.2 He married, secondly, Caroline Hamilton Ash, daughter of William Hamilton Ash and Lady Elizabeth Emma Douglas, on 7 July 1853.2 He died on 30 August 1895 at age 79.1
