     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Munro, of Foulis, Ross [N.S., 1634] on 14 January 1688.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ross-shire between 1689 and 1697.1

     He lived at Coul, Ross-shire, Scotland.2 He was created 1st Baronet Mackenzie, of Coul, co. Ross [Nova Scotia] on 16 October 1673.2
