William Brabazon, 11th Earl of Meath

     William Brabazon, 11th Earl of Meath was born on 25 October 1803.1 He was the son of John Chambré Brabazon, 10th Earl of Meath and Lady Melosina Adelaide Meade.1 He married Harriot Brooke, daughter of Sir Richard Brooke, 6th Bt. and Harriot Cunliffe, on 24 November 1837.2 He died on 26 May 1887 at age 83.1
     He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Meath [I., 1627] on 15 March 1851.1 He succeeded as the 12th Lord Brabazon, Baron of Ardee, co. Louth [I., 1616] on 15 March 1851.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Chaworth of Eaton Hall, co. Hereford [U.K., 1831] on 15 March 1851.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Wicklow.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 5th Battlion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.1

     Harriot Brooke was the daughter of Sir Richard Brooke, 6th Bt. and Harriot Cunliffe.1 She married William Brabazon, 11th Earl of Meath, son of John Chambré Brabazon, 10th Earl of Meath and Lady Melosina Adelaide Meade, on 24 November 1837.1 She died on 16 July 1898.1
     From 24 November 1837, her married name became Brabazon.1 After her marriage, Harriot Brooke was styled as Countess of Meath on 15 March 1851.

Henry Ponsonby and Lady Frances Brabazon.1 He married, thirdly, Mary Barker, daughter of Sir William Barker, 3rd Bt. and Mary Quin.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Clarke, daughter of Edward Clarke, on 28 September 1746.1 He married, secondly, Louisa Lyons, daughter of Henry Lyons, on 23 October 1752.1 He died on 20 December 1762.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He lived at Ashgrove, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.3
