Bertram Pollock was born on 6 December 1863 at Wimbledon, Surrey, EnglandG.2,3 He was the son of George Frederick Pollock and Frances Diana Herbert.2 He married, secondly, Joan Florence Helen Ryder, daughter of Reverend Algernon Charles Dudley Ryder and Constance Eugenia Smith, on 11 October 1928.1 He died on 12 October 1943 at age 79 at Gissing, Norfolk, EnglandG.2,3 He was buried at Norwich Cathedral, Norwich, Norfolk, England.3
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)4 He was the Master between 1893 and 1910 at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.4 He held the office of Bishop of Norwich in 1910.2 He held the office of Chaplain-in-Ordinary to HM Edward VII.4 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1921.4

Frederick Dudley Ryder and Marian Charlotte Emily Cokayne.1 He married Priscilla Campbell Betts, daughter of William Betts and Julia Wildman Sparling, on 31 October 1895.1 He died on 10 October 1905 at age 56, without issue.1
