Sir John Judkin-Fitzgerald, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 August 1787.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Judkin-FitzGerald, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Capel.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Pennefather, daughter of Lt. Col. Richard Pennefather and Anne Jacob, on 10 August 1816.1 He married, secondly, Geraldine Fitzgerald, daughter of Preston Fitzgerald, on 10 November 1837.2 He married, thirdly, Margaret Warner, daughter of William Warner, on 27 April 1854.2 He died on 28 February 1860 at age 72, on board the Nimrod steamer, lost between Liverpool and Cork.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Judkin-FitzGerald, of Lisheen, co. Tipperary [U.K., 1801] on 24 September 1810.2
