Rev. Sir Charles Hardinge, 2nd Bt. was born on 22 March 1780.2 He was the son of Reverend Henry Hardinge and Frances Best.2 He married Emily Bradford Callander, daughter of Kenneth Callander, on 13 June 1816.2 He died on 3 February 1864 at age 83.2
