Sir Arundell Neave, 4th Bt. was born on 5 June 1829.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Digby Neave, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Mary Arundell.2 He married Hon. Gwyn Gertrude Hughes, daughter of William Lewis Hughes, 1st Baron Dinorben of Kinmel Park, on 26 September 1871.1 He died on 21 September 1877 at age 48.2
He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Dragoon Guards.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Neave, of Dagnam Park, Essex [G.B., 1795] on 10 March 1868.1

Major Arundell Neave was born on 2 July 1875.1 He was the son of Sir Arundell Neave, 4th Bt. and Hon. Gwyn Gertrude Hughes.2 He died on 21 February 1915 at age 39, killed in action.2
He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.2 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 16th Lancers.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1
