Thomas Coventry, 3rd Earl of Coventry1

     Thomas Coventry, 3rd Earl of Coventry was born on 7 April 1702.1 He was the son of Thomas Coventry, 2nd Earl of Coventry and Lady Anne Somerset.1 He died on 28 January 1711/12 at age 9 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his mother on 14 February 1711/12.1
     He was educated in 1710 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Coventry [E., 1697] in August 1710.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Deerhurst, of the hundred of Deerhurst, co. Gloucester [E., 1697] in August 1710.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Coventry of Aylesborough, co. Worcester [E., 1628] in August 1710.1

     Gilbert Coventry, 4th Earl of Coventry was born circa 1668.1 He was the son of Thomas Coventry, 1st Earl of Coventry and Winifred Edgcumbe.1 He married, firstly, Dorothy Keyt, daughter of Sir William Keyt, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Coventry, circa 30 November 1694.1 He married, secondly, Anne Master, daughter of Sir Streynsham Master and Elizabeth Legh, on 27 June 1715 at Guildhall Chapel, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 27 October 1719 at Croome Dabitot, Worcestershire, EnglandG, without male issue.3 His will was proven (by probate) on 13 February 1719/20.3
     He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Deerhurst, of the hundred of Deerhurst, co. Gloucester [E., 1697] on 28 January 1711/12.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Coventry [E., 1697] on 28 January 1711/12.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Coventry of Aylesborough, co. Worcester [E., 1628] on 28 January 1711/12.1 His last will was dated 27 October 1719.
     On his death, the Barony of Coventry of Aylesborough became extinct.3

     Hon. William James Coventry was born on 1 January 1797.1 He was the son of George William Coventry, 7th Earl of Coventry and Peggy Pitches.1 He married Mary Laing, daughter of James Laing, on 26 July 1821.1 He died on 11 March 1877 at age 80.1

     Mary Laing was the daughter of James Laing.1 She married Hon. William James Coventry, son of George William Coventry, 7th Earl of Coventry and Peggy Pitches, on 26 July 1821.1 She died on 29 December 1892.1
     Her married name became Coventry.

     From 21 April 1868, her married name became Coventry.1

     Caroline Stirling Dundas was born on 6 May 1815 at Dalmeny, West Lothian, ScotlandG.2 She was the daughter of James Dundas of Dundas and Hon. Mary Tufton Duncan.1,3 She married Hon. Henry Amelius Coventry, son of George William Coventry, 8th Earl of Coventry and Lady Mary Beauclerk, on 2 August 1837.1 She died on 1 January 1862 at age 46.1
     Her married name became Coventry.

     James Dundas of Dundas was born posthumously on 14 January 1793.2 He was the son of Captain George Dundas of Dundas and Christian Stirling.2 He was baptised on 9 April 1793 at Dalmeny, West Lothian, ScotlandG.3 He married Hon. Mary Tufton Duncan, daughter of Admiral Adam Duncan, 1st Viscount Duncan of Camperdown and Henrietta Dundas, on 20 July 1813.2 He died on 9 March 1881 at age 88.2
     He held the position of 26th Chief of the Name and Arms of Dundas from in 1793.2 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Linlithgowshire.2 He lived at Dundas Castle, Linlithgow, West Lothian, ScotlandG.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Linlithgowshire.2 He sold Dundas Castle in 1875.2
