     Sir David Fleming of Biggar and Cumbernauld was born before 1388.2 He was the son of Malcolm Fleming of Biggar.2 He married Jean Barclay, daughter of David de Berkeley of Carny and Kindersleith and Margaret de Brechin. He died on 14 February 1406.2

     Frances Sarah Jenkinson was the daughter of Rt. Rev. John Bankes Jenkinson and Frances Augusta Pechell.1,2 She married Reverend Henry Brooke Boothby, son of Reverend Brooke Boothby and Hon. Louisa Henrietta Venables-Vernon, on 5 July 1849.1 She died on 22 June 1877.1
     From 5 July 1849, her married name became Boothby.1

     Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 2nd Bt. was born in 1688 at Dailly, Ayrshire, ScotlandG. He was the son of Sir John Fergusson of Kilkerran, 1st Bt. and Jean Whitefoord.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 2nd Bt. and Jane Maitland was signed on 8 September 1726.1 He died on 20 January 1759 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.
     He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 He was educated at Leyden University, Leyden, The NetherlandsG.2 He was a practising advocate in 1711.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Fergusson, of Kilkerran [N.S., 1703] on 14 February 1729.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland from 1734 to 1735.2 He held the office of Lord of Session in 1735.2 He was styled as Lord Kilkerran [Scottish Law Lord] in 1735.2 He held the office of Lord of Justiciary in 1749.2 He wrote the book a compilation of Court of Session decisions, 1738-53, published 1775, published ‘by his son' (probably George.)2

     From 15 July 1710, her married name became Maitland. After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Ogilvy was styled as Countess of Lauderdale on 30 August 1710.
