     Robert Craufurd was the son of Reverend George Craufurd and Agnes Montgomery.2 He married Agnes Kennedy of Balsarroch.1 He died in 1682.1

     James Craufurd of Newark is the son of Robert Craufurd and Agnes Kennedy of Balsarroch.2 He married Ann Kennedy, daughter of Quentin Kennedy of Drummellane, on 28 May 1687.1
     He purchased Newark in 1687.1

     From 28 May 1687, her married name became Craufurd.1

Quentin Craufurd of Newark1

     Quentin Craufurd of Newark was the son of James Craufurd of Newark and Ann Kennedy.2 He married Ann Robinson, daughter of James Robinson, on 18 September 1729.1 He died in 1749.1
     He held the office of Justiciary Baillie for the West Seas of Scotland.1
