Thomas Howard, 3rd Earl of Effingham was born on 13 January 1746.1 He was the son of Thomas Howard, 2nd Earl of Effingham and Elizabeth Beckford.1 He married Catherine Proctor, daughter of Metcalfe Proctor, on 14 October 1765.1 He died on 19 November 1791 at age 45, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Effingham, co. Surrey [G.B., 1731] on 19 November 1763.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Howard of Effingham, co. Surrey [E., 1554] on 19 November 1763.1 He held the office of Deputy Earl Marshal.1

Richard Howard, 4th Earl of Effingham was born on 21 February 1747/48.1 He was the son of Thomas Howard, 2nd Earl of Effingham and Elizabeth Beckford.1 He married Harriet Elizabeth March, daughter of John March and Mary Phillipps, on 14 June 1785.1 He died on 10 December 1816 at age 68, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Effingham [G.B., 1731] on 19 November 1791.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baron Howard of Effingham, co. Surrey [E., 1554] on 19 November 1791.1 On his death, his earldom became extinct.1

Neil Primrose, 3rd Earl of Rosebery was born in 1729.1 He was the son of James Primrose, 2nd Earl of Rosebery and Mary Campbell.1 He married, firstly, Susan Ward, daughter of Sir Edward Ward, 5th Bt., on 19 May 1764.1 He married, secondly, Mary Vincent, daughter of Sir Francis Vincent, 7th Bt. and Mary Howard, on 17 July 1775.1 He died on 25 March 1814.1
