Alexander Bruce, 2nd Earl of Kincardine was born circa 1629.1 He was the son of Sir George Bruce and Mary Preston.1 He married Veronica van Aersen, daughter of Cornelius van Aersen, Lord of Sommelsdyck, circa 16 June 1659.1 He died on 9 July 1680.1
He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in February 1660/61.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Kincardine [S., 1647] in 1662.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Bruce of Torry [S., 1647] in 1662.1 He held the office of Commissioer of the Treausry [Scotland] between 1666 and 1674, jointly.1 He held the office of Extraordinary Lord of Session between 1667 and 1680.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) between 1674 and 1676.1

Jane Stuart was born before 1722.2 She was the daughter of Archibald Stuart, 5th of Torrance and Elizabeth Myrton.1,2 She married Thomas Cochrane, 8th Earl of Dundonald, son of William Cochrane and Lady Mary Bruce, on 6 September 1744.1 She died on 21 May 1808.1

James Murray, Viscount Fincastle was born on 7 December 1683.1 He was the son of Charles Murray, 1st Earl of Dunmore and Catherine Watts.1 He married Janet Murray, daughter of Patrick Murray, on 29 April 1702.1 He died on 29 September 1704 at age 20, without issue.1
He was styled as Viscount Fincastle in 1686.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Macartney's Regiment of Scots Foot.1

Brig.-Gen. Hon. Robert Murray was born on 7 January 1689.1 He was the son of Charles Murray, 1st Earl of Dunmore and Catherine Watts.1 He married Mary Halkett, daughter of Sir Charles Halkett of Pitfirrane, 1st Bt. and Janet Murray, in 1708.1 He died on 9 March 1738 at age 49.1
