Sir John Shelley Sidney, 1st Bt. was born on 18 December 1771.1 He was the son of Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jane Perry.1 He married Henrietta Hunloke, daughter of Sir Henry Hunloke, 4th Bt. and Margaret Coke, on 29 April 1799.1 He died on 14 March 1849 at age 77.1
He was given the name of John Shelley at birth.1 In 1793 his name was legally changed to John Shelley Sidney by Sign Manual.1 He was created 1st Baronet Shelley Sidney, of Penshurst Place, co. Kent [U.K.] on 12 December 1818.1

Captain Gerald John Ponsonby, 6th Baron de Mauley of Canford was born on 19 December 1921.1 He was the son of Hubert William Ponsonby, 5th Baron de Mauley of Canford and Elgiva Margaret Dundas.1 He married Helen Alice Douglas, daughter of Hon. Charles William Sholto Douglas and Alice Agnes Fox-Pitt, on 16 November 1954.1 He died on 17 October 2002 at age 80, without issue.1
