     Major Thomas Peter Durie is the son of Colonel Thomas Durie.1 He married Pamela Mary Bowlby, daughter of Henry Russell Bowlby and Hermione Hester Isabel Wisden, in June 1952.1
     He was awarded the George Medal (G.M.)1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Artillery.1

     Captain Cuthbert Francis Bond Bowlby was born on 23 August 1895 at Buckinghamshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Reverend Henry Thomas Bowlby and Annie Margaret Gedge.1 He married Isobel Murray Thorburn, daughter of Colonel William Thorburn, 1st of Craigerne and Isabella Murray, in 1920.1 He died on 31 May 1969 at age 73 at Romsey, Hampshire, England.2

     From 1920, her married name became Bowlby.1

     Rosemary Isabella Webb was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Francis Richmond Webb.1 She married Cuthbert Peter Ronald Bowlby, son of Captain Cuthbert Francis Bond Bowlby and Isobel Murray Thorburn, on 15 April 1950.1 She died on 7 September 2009.2
     From 15 April 1950, her married name became Bowlby.1
