     Reverend William Baker Stoney was born circa 1795 at Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland.2 He was the son of James Johnston Stoney and Catherine Baker.1 He married Frances Ann Shirley Going, daughter of Reverend John Going and Frances Anne Shirley, in 1820 at County Tipperary, Ireland.1,2 He died on 7 February 1874 at Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland.2
     He was the Rector at Castlebar, County Mayo, IrelandG.1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1

     Frances Ann Shirley Going was born in 1796 at Cranna House, Birdhill, County Tipperary, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Reverend John Going and Frances Anne Shirley.1,2 She married Reverend William Baker Stoney, son of James Johnston Stoney and Catherine Baker, in 1820 at County Tipperary, Ireland.1,2 She died in 1870 at Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland.2
     From 1820, her married name became Stoney.1
