Sir Nigel Edward Seely, 5th Bt. was born on 28 July 1923.2 He was the son of Sir Victor Basil John Seely, 4th Bt. and Sybil Helen Gibbons.1 He married, firstly, Loraine Lindley-Travis, daughter of Wilfred Lindley-Travis, on 8 July 1949.1 He married, secondly, Trudi Pacter, daughter of Sydney Pacter, in 1984.1 He died on 25 April 2019 at age 95.3
He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Seely, of Sherwood Lodge, Arnold, Nottinghamshire and Brooke House, Isle of Wight [U.K., 1896] on 10 May 1980.1 He lived in 1999 at 3 Craven Hill Mews, London, EnglandG.1

William Ward, 10th Baron Dudley was born on 16 October 1685.2 He was the son of Hon. William Ward and Frances Dilke.1 He died on 20 May 1740 at age 54, unmarried.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 1 July 1740.3
He succeeded as the 5th Baron Ward of Birmingham, co. Warwick [E., 1644] on 6 September 1731.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baon Dudley [E., 1440] on 6 September 1731.2
The Barony of Dudley devolved on his nephew and heir, General Ferdinando Dudley Lea, while the Barony of Ward passed to his cousin and heir male John Ward, of Sedgeley Park (afterwards Viscount Dudley and Ward.)1
