     Captain Christopher Simpson is the son of Reverend Arthur Hume Simpson.1 He married Lynda Lucie Tottenham, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Loftus Tottenham and Hilda May Fox, on 2 October 1947.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
