Edward Frederick Langley Russell, 2nd Baron Russell of Liverpool was born on 10 April 1895.1 He was the son of Richard Henry Langley Russell and Mabel Suffolk Younge.2 He married, firstly, Constance Claudine Gordon, daughter of Colonel Philip Cecil Harcourt Gordon, in 1920.1 He and Constance Claudine Gordon were divorced in 1933.1 He married, secondly, Joan Betty Ewart, daughter of Dr. David Ewart, on 5 July 1933.1 He and Joan Betty Ewart were divorced in 1946.1 He married, thirdly, Alix de Breviare d'Alaincourt, daughter of unknown, Marquis de Breviare d'Alaincourt and Myra Alexander Dick, on 27 May 1946.1 He married, fourthly, Selina (?) on 3 November 1972.1 He died on 8 April 1981 at age 85.1,3
