Richard Gore was born on 16 October 1728.1 He was the son of Sir Ralph Gore, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Ashe.1,2 He married Martha Fiott, daughter of Reverend Thomas Fiott, on 1 June 1766, but more likely 1 June 1756.1 He died in 1816.1

William Archdale was the son of Edward Archdale and Angel Gore.1 He married Elizabeth Mervyn, daughter of Henry Mervyn, in 1677.1 He died in 1722.1
He held the office of High Sheriff in 1667, and again in 1692.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Old Castle Archdale, County Fermanagh, IrelandG, which had been rebuilt, but was again destroyed by fire during the 'troubles' in 1689.1 He held the office of member, Commission of Array for County Fermanagh, during the time of Queen Anne.1

Colonel Mervyn Archdale was born in 1685.1 He was the son of William Archdale and Elizabeth Mervyn.1 He died on 27 December 1726, unmarried.1
He graduated from Trinity Church, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1705 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1708 in the Colonel Irvine's Militia Regiment of Dragoons.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1714.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1715 in the Dragoon Regiment of Fermanagh.1 As of 1722, Colonel Mervyn Archdale was considered the head of the Archdale family, succeeding his father, William Archdale.1 He lived at Castle Archdale, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.1

Captain Edward Archdale was born in 1694.1 He was the son of William Archdale and Elizabeth Mervyn.1 He married, firstly, Francis Caldwell, daughter of Sir John Caldwell, 1st Bt..1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Cole, daughter of John Cole, in 1728.1 He died on 8 October 1728, without issue.1

Elizabeth Cole was the daughter of John Cole.1 She married, firstly, Captain Edward Archdale, son of William Archdale and Elizabeth Mervyn, in 1728.1 She married Hon. Bysshe Molesworth, son of Robert Molesworth, 1st Viscount Molesworth of Swords and Hon. Laetitia Coote, on 7 December 1731.2 She died in January 1770.1
