Helen Edith Barrow1

     Helen Edith Barrow was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Lousada Barrow and Piercy Macdonald.1 She married Major-Gen. Boyce Albert Combe, son of Charles James Fox Combe and Eliza Roberts, on 30 October 1871, leaving issue.1 She died on 29 May 1892.1
     From 30 October 1871, her married name became Combe.1

Major-Gen. Boyce Albert Combe1

     Major-Gen. Boyce Albert Combe was born on 21 August 1841 at Honfleur, Calvados, France.2 He was the son of Charles James Fox Combe and Eliza Roberts.1,2 He married Helen Edith Barrow, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Lousada Barrow and Piercy Macdonald, on 30 October 1871, leaving issue.1 He died on 3 June 1920 at age 78 at India.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

     Charles James Fox Combe was born on 5 March 1797.2 He was the son of Harvey Christian Combe and Alice Christian Tree.2 He married Eliza Roberts on 23 January 1836 at Dover, Kent, England.2 He died on 20 October 1875 at age 78.2

     Maj.-Gen. de Symons Barrow was born in 1823.1 He was the son of Simon Barrow and Tryphina Esther de Symons.1 He died in 1905, leaving additional issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Indian Army.1 He held the office of Inspector-General of Police for the United Provinces of India.1

Colonel Arthur Frederick Barrow1

     Colonel Arthur Frederick Barrow was born on 19 October 1850 at Bangalore, IndiaG.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. de Symons Barrow.1 He married Margaret Young, daughter of Jasper Young, in 1898.1 He died on 5 January 1903 at age 52.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second Afghan War between 1878 and 1880.1 He was working with the Afghan Boundary Commission between 1884 and 1885, he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1885.1 He held the office of Assistant Quartermaster General for India.1 He was Commandant of the Chitral Relief Force Base.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Staff Corps.1

     Major Hugh Lousada Barrow was born in 1861.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. de Symons Barrow.1 He died in 1891 at SudanG, killed in action.1

General Sir George de Symons Barrow1

     General Sir George de Symons Barrow was born on 25 October 1864 at Naini Tal, IndiaG.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. de Symons Barrow.1 He married Sybilla Way, daughter of Colonel George Augustus Way and Catherine Coubould-Warren, on 4 June 1902.1 He died on 28 December 1959 at age 95.1

Sybilla Way1

     Sybilla Way was the daughter of Colonel George Augustus Way and Catherine Coubould-Warren.1,2 She married General Sir George de Symons Barrow, son of Maj.-Gen. de Symons Barrow, on 4 June 1902.1 She died on 12 February 1966.1
     From 4 June 1902, her married name became Barrow.1
