     Ranald George Macdonald, 21st of Clanranald and Moidart and 7th of Benbecula was born on 29 August 1788.1 He was the son of John Macdonald, 20th of Clanranald and Moidart and 6th of Benbecula and Katherine Macqueen.2 He married, firstly, Lady Caroline Anne Edgcumbe, daughter of Richard Edgcumbe, 2nd Earl of Mount Edgcumbe and Lady Sophia Hobart, on 1 April 1812.1 He married, secondly, Anne Selby Cunninghame, daughter of William Cuninghame, 1st of Lainshaw and Margaret Nicolson Cranstoun, on 30 June 1826 at Glenlee House, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.3 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Rebecca Newman in November 1855.1 He died on 11 March 1873 at age 84 at Clarendon Road, London, EnglandG.3 He was buried at Brompton Cemetery, Brompton, London, EnglandG.3
     He gained the title of 6th Lord of Clanranald [Scotland, 1716], Jacobite.3 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 9 August 1810.1 He held the position of 18th Chief of Clanranald from on 9 August 1810.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plymouth between 1812 and 1824.1 Between 1813 and 1830 he was forced to sell his estates because of financial difficulties (in addition to the difficulties caused by his grandfather's bond of 1745.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

     William Bingham was born on 8 March 1752 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G.2,3 He married Anne Willing. He died on 7 February 1804 at age 51 at Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.2
     He graduated from Philadelphia College, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G, in 1768.2 He was an agent for the continental congress to Martinique.2 He was a consul to St. Pierre.2 He was a delegate in the Continental Congress, from Pennsylvania from 1787 to 1788.2 He held the office of Member of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives between 1790 and 1791, and served as Speaker in 1791.3 In 1793 he purchased more than 2 million acres in Maine for $250,000.2 He held the office of Senator [U.S.] between 1795 and 1801. where he was an active supporter of John Adams, and evenutally become the Senate's President pro temp in the Fourth Congress.1,2 He lived at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G.1

     George Cubitt, 1st Baron Ashcombe was born on 4 June 1828 at Clapham Common, London, EnglandG.1 He was baptised at St. Peter's Church, Eaton Square, Belgravia, London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Thomas Cubitt and Mary Anne Warner.3 He married Laura Joyce, daughter of Reverend James Joyce and Sarah Brakspear, on 14 June 1853 at Dorking, Surrey, EnglandG.3 He died on 26 February 1917 at age 88 at 17 Prince's Gate, London, EnglandG.2 He was buried on 2 March 1917 at Ranmore, Surrey, EnglandG.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1851 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1854 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      George Abernethy, 7th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was born circa 1555.1 He was the son of Alexander Abernethy, 6th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Lady Alison Keith.1 He married Lady Margaret Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 4th Earl of Atholl and Lady Elizabeth Gordon, before 3 August 1574.1 He died on 27 April 1590.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy [S., 1445] in April 1587.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Banffshire.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] before 15 January 1588/89.1

     Lady Jean Stewart was the daughter of John Stewart, 4th Earl of Atholl and Margaret Fleming.1 A contract for the marriage of Lady Jean Stewart and Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenorchy, 1st Bt. was signed on 18 November 1573.2 She died in September 1593.3 Her will was proven (by probate) on 25 July 1595.1
     Her married name became Campbell.
